For all you folks looking for the photo

it's gone. Like I said, 24 hours.

Now get over it, seriously.

Jay Leno just made a joke about Jamey Singleton on the Tonight Show. Funny stuff.

Jay Leno makes a living making fun of people. Often he does not know the first thing about the person whose life he is ridiculing. His writers, who are paid big bucks don't give a rat's patoot about the hurt and humiliation people go through. It's all about having a little guffaw at someone else's expense.

Personally I don't believe there is anything funny about what happened to Jamey. Being addicted to prescription drugs is not funny. Getting hooked on harder stuff is not funny. Losing your job is not funny. Being held up to public ridicule is not funny. Having a private photo posted and then "shared" with your boss by your dear "friends" is not funny in the least.

I guess if you are mad at the world for the way you look it's the perfect nitch: make fun of everyone, call yourself a comedian and get paid a fortune for it. After all, if you make fun of others all the time you never have to deal with your owbn situation. Pretty screwed up set of values if you asked me.

Leno is a creep IMHO. Under the guise of humor he even attacks people he has had on his show as guests. No one seems to be exempt from his often caustic comments.

Many years back there were comedians who never needed to resort to personal attacks. The Marx Brothers, Abbot and Costello and many others made people howl with laughter but never used the pain of others as fuel.

I avoid watching people like Leno. Personally I find him disgusting. Making fun of people's physical defects and flaws is reprehensible, not funny. Sadly, he is a multi-millionaire. That tells me many people watch him and must think his brand of humor is appealing. To each his own, but I don't think he's worth anything. Maybe if he gets cancer and lingers alone in a hospital bed, some other so called comedical will have a joke at his expense. Perhaps it will make him feel better as he lays there with his remote as his only companion.
