Just a helpful hint, and some news.

Always make sure your mower blade stays safely within the deck itself.

I'm fine, all 5 toes still. Just some minor scrapes and nicks.. but it could have been worse.

Oh, and never accept a mower from a neighbor, no matter how well intentioned, that he has not personally used on his lawn.
